During the war in Afghanistan Aria lost her leg and is beginning school with her helper-leg. Not out right mentioned, the child lost her leg due to a land mine. This touching picture book is about the resilience of this little girl when she decides to build a bench so she can sit at school. This first step brings together the rest of the students to start working together to rebuild what they lost.
