Isabella just moved to the United States from Columbia. She is so excited to make new friends in her school but then it snows and school is canceled . In this book Isabella lives with her Mama and Abuelita. Her Papa is still waiting for permission to move to the US and she misses him. When Isabella and her family speak the words are in Spanish. Isabella explains that she knows enough English to understand her new friend. This is such a sweet story about breaking the language barrier with friendship
