This is a great book to teach children how to remain honest with their words but also remain being kind. Frank has a habit of hurting people with his bluntness but doesn’t understand why. He was always taught “Honesty is the best policy”. His grandfather teaches him, from his own experiences, that honesty is best served with a little sugar.
