In this very sweet children’s book, Charlie describes all the traits he has in common with his friend Isabelle, who has Down Syndrome. This book promotes inclusion in the way it describes that both children have the same capabilities but sometimes do things in different ways. The book presents a very simple way to explain Down Syndrome to other children. The art is draw in a way that isn’t meant to emphasize Isabelle’s appearance but her happiness, sadness and her spirit.
