It’s Christmas time and the children are visiting Nanny Mihi at the beach. As usual Nanny has a special surprise but will the weather threaten to spoil it this year?
I have always appreciated how the Nanny Mihi books don’t provide translations for the te reo Māori words used throughout the text. They are words that are common in everyday speech, and don’t need to be singled out. Nanny’s Christmas celebrations are beautiful.
