This a book of positive affirmations that is about a child’s bond with their mother. The illustrations strongly present diversity in families. Some of the moms appear much older. I love that the book does this because moms are typically assumed to be very young but this isn’t always the case. Grandparents also sometimes take the roll of mom.

Finally I want to mention how inclusive this book is. The book illustrates a child in a wheelchair and a mom with a hearing aid, for example.
