Books about families that move from one place to another are so important. This is very important to children who will have to learn a new way of living culturally. The issue I have found with these books is how in many cases they aren’t written in the child’s native language. This book is! This book is full of so much diversity and inclusion.

Miguel is moving from Puerto Rico to New York and is anxious and sad he will be leaving behind so much that he loves, including his pet frog, El Coqui. With the support of his mother he learns that he will adjust and make this new place his home.

Este cuento es de una familia que muda de un sietio hay otro. Es muy importante para los ninos que aprenden una manera de vivir en una cultura diferente. Los cuestiones que tengo con este libro is que hay muchos cuetos que no son escrito en espanol para ninos, pero este libro si!

Inclue mucho inclusión y diversidad.

Hay mudarse de Puerto Rico hay Nueva York; Miguel se siente ansioso y triste porque esta dejando la vida que ama, incluindo su mascota de rana El Coqui! Con mucho apoyo de la mama, Miguel aprende que se va a ajustar y puede hacer este nuevo lugar su hogar.
