My Sister, Daisy

My Sister, Daisy

Written by: Adria Karlsson.

Illustrator: Linus Curci.

This is a picture book about a young boy learning about his transgender sister. He is worried he will used her wrong name or pronouns. At times he has strong emotions such as sadness and jealousy. Daisy may now have explained she is his sister but she is the same person with the same interests. Their parents and their school are extremely supportive of both children’s needs. I love that this book touches on nonbinary children and their correct pronouns.
