This is a very emotional story of a family moving to a smaller home because of lack of money. There is no true happy ending to this book but only the acceptance the child feels when they understand there is no other options but to sell their belongings. I would definitely read this before presenting to a child. It is very straightforward. The story can help some children come to terms with this kind of heartbreaking change.
