Activity/Structure
- Start with your favorite Hello Song!
- Read “Baby Loves Gravity”.
- This is when I teach them the word of the day “Gravity”
- I hand out the scarves and we throw them up and watch them slowly drift down. Then we throw the balls in the air and notice how they come down faster.
- I play a song and the children play with the balls and scarves.
- Read “Gravity”
- If you have a bubble machine this is a great program for it 🙂
- Craft time. Give each child a scarf and dot markers. (Put paper under the scarf so the maintenance staff doesn’t give you mean looks for dotting up the furniture 😉 )
- Give the children the DIY beach balls and markers. They should be permanent but if they are washable the children can color the ball over and over again 🙂 .
