This is one of my favourite rhymes to get kids engaged at the beginning of storytime. I love that it gives me the opportunity to alter the volume and pitch of my voice to get kids playing with sound.

It’s also great to adapt to any theme: dragons (roar sounds are very fun), sleepy (you can do a yawning version), silly, etc. It’s an infinitely adaptable little piece and can be included with or without clapping on thighs or hands. Scroll down for more options!
