Dim Sum for Everyone — by Little Miss Ann

A note from Little Miss Ann:

I grew up going to Chinatown as a child but didn’t start eating Dim Sum until an adult mostly when I became a mom. My family and I love to go to Chinatown in Chicago and have some Dim Sum for brunch. We wait for the tea and order our food. We love the steamed buns, dumplings, shrimp crepes, and more! It’s delicious!

LYRICS:

v1

Today, we’re driving to Chinatown to eat
My grandma, my brother, my sister in the backseat with me
When we get there our server he brings us some hot tea
We mark all the things on the paper that we want to eat
I’m so delighted
I’m so excited
Squirming in my seat
Can’t wait to eat

Chorus:
We’re gonna Chinatown Come on everyone, Dim Sum for Everyone,
Let’s go – get some …
Let’s eat some brunch Cuz Dim Sum’s so Yum , Dim Sum for everyone
Let’s go – get some …

v2

Sitting at a round table waiting for our food
I know this feast is gonna be so very very good
Our server rolls out a cart that is completely full
What’s in the bamboo steamer baskets and what’s in the bowls?

Chorus

v3

We lift up the bamboo lid, my face is hit with some steam
I look inside and see buns filled with meat
Use chopsticks/ to dip the potsticker in some sauce
I like the spare ribs my sis thinks egg custards are the boss
BBQ buns,Shrimp crepes, Sesame balls, Taro cake
Dim Sum (YEAH!!!) (x 4)

Chorus
