From out the sea, where mer-folks, will be!

They’ve come to play with friend manatees

Today’s the day our wee mer-friends have their swim meet!

Swimming time for our mer-friends

Our kindly mer-folk friends are having a lovely time today!

Watch them, diving, in deep ends!

And see them swimming as they splash away

See them as they dive about

They love to play and shout,

They feel like fun never ends!

At six o’clock their favourite grownups will take them home to bed

Because they’re tired out our wee mer-friends

Yes, they’re all tired out, our kind mer-friends!

All the mer-kids who can share get snacks from a big buffet!

There’s lots of different folks to see and wonderful games to play!

Beneath the waves, where the lifeguards gaze,

They’re having fun and catching some rays!
